What is SNUSAT & APT?: SThe Shiv Nadar University Scholastic Aptitude Test (SNUSAT) is an entrance exam for undergraduate admissions at Shiv Nadar University, Delhi NCR. Conducted in a home-proctored online format, the test evaluates critical thinking, logical reasoning, and quantitative aptitude.

For BTech and BS Computer Science applicants, an additional Academic Proficiency Test (APT) is mandatory, assessing Mathematics and Physics knowledge.

This entrance exam will be conducted across six admission cycles from January 2025 to July 2025. Candidates who choose the SNUSAT admission route will have access to sample questions on their application dashboard after completing the payment process.

Eligibility Criteria for Shiv Nadar University B.Tech

Academic Requirements: Applicants must have an aggregate of 65% or higher in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their 10+2 examinations.

Admission Process:
School of Engineering

Route 1: JEE Mains 2025 or 2024: High performers may be offered direct admission based on their JEE (Mains) scores. The University reserves the right to interview candidates if necessary.

Route 2: SNUSAT + APT: Applicants can take the Shiv Nadar University Scholastic Aptitude Test (SNUSAT) and, if applying for engineering programs, the Academic Proficiency Test (APT).

Route 3: College Board SAT + Interview: Candidates with valid SAT scores can apply and may be required to attend an interview.

Route 4: ACT + Interview: Candidates with valid ACT scores can apply and may be required to attend an interview.

Route 5: CUET 2025 + Interview: Applicants can apply through the Common University Entrance Test followed by an interview.

 SNUSAT & APT Details:

• • • SNUSAT: A 2-hour test applicable to all programs, assessing verbal reasoning, quantitative ability, abstract reasoning, and including an essay component.
    • For School of Engineering applicants, two subject tests in Physics and Mathematics, each lasting 45 minutes.
    • Note: The SNUSAT essay must be typed on the computer within the stipulated time.

      Once you select the SNUSAT route and complete your application payment, sample questions will be available on your application dashboard for practice.

      The SNUSAT exam has two components: Multiple-choice questions and an essay. There is no negative marking.

      SNUSAT Essay must be typed on the computer within the stipulated time.
