FAQ'S ON BEST JUNIOR COLLEGE IN HYDERABAD
1. WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO BEGIN STUDYING FOR THE IIT JEE?
The IIT JEE covers almost all of the topics from Std XI and Std XII, as well as a few more topics from a higher level and Std X. The nature of the questions set in the IIT papers is entirely different from that of the Std X or XII Board Exam. Every question in the IIT papers is probing in nature and is based on fundamental concepts. The problems in the IIT papers are extremely difficult and can only be solved by those who have a thorough understanding of the fundamental concepts as well as sufficient practice with such problems. As a result, IIT preparation must be a gradual and well-planned study, properly coordinated with that of Std.XI and XII.
2. HOW MANY SEATS ARE THERE IN INDIA’S IITS?
There are nearly 17,000 seats available in the country’s 23 IITs. There are also supernumerary seats for female candidates.
3. HOW MANY TIMES CAN JEE MAIN BE GIVEN?
The JEE Mains will be held twice a year, with candidates registering separately for the January and April exams. So, whatever flaws a candidate had in the January exam can be overcome in the April exam. As a result, a candidate can appear twice a year for the next three years. After passing JEE Mains with a high score, candidates will be eligible to take JEE Advanced.
4. IS IT NECESSARY TO TAKE THE EXAM TWICE, OR CAN I ONLY TAKE IT ONCE? WHICH SCORE WILL BE CONSIDERED IF I TAKE THE EXAM TWICE?
This will be entirely up to the candidate. It is entirely up to him or her whether to make one or two attempts. If they take both exams, the best of the two scores will be used to determine their ranking on the merit list.
5. IS IT NECESSARY TO TAKE THE JEE MAIN PAPER 2 EXAM?
No, it isn’t. If you want to pursue the B.Arch. and B.Planning programmes, you must take the JEE Main Paper 2 Exam.
6. HOW MANY JEE MAIN EXAM CENTRES CAN I CHOOSE FROM?
You may select up to three exam locations at your accessibility.
7. IS THE EXAM GOING TO BE OFFLINE OR ONLINE?
JEE (Main) – 2025 Exam will be held only in “Computer Based Test” (CBT) Mode, the only exception being the Drawing Test for B.Arch., which will be held in “Pen & Paper” (offline) Mode.
8. WHAT WILL THE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS BE FOR NIT’S, IIIT’S, AND OTHER CFTI’S?
Admission to NITs will be based on 40% of total marks obtained in Class XII board/equivalent exam (standardised) and 60% of performance in JEE Main. A combined All India Rank (AIR) would be assigned as a result. Other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) and participating Institutions may also adopt the same policy.
9. WILL THERE BE NEGATIVE MARKINGS IN THE JEE-MAIN 2025 EXAM? WHAT WILL BE THE STRUCTURE OF THE QUESTIONS?
Yes, There will be objective questions with four options and only one correct answer. One-fourth (1/4) of the total marks allotted to the question would be deducted for each incorrect response. There will be no deduction from the total score if no response is indicated for a question on the answer sheet.
10. HOW MANY QUESTIONS ARE IN THE JEE MAINS?
There are 90 questions in JEE Mains Paper 1. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics each have 30 questions. Paper 2A (BArch) contains 82 questions, while Paper 2B contains 105 questions.
