About MET 2026:
Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) conducts Manipal Entrance Test (MET) annually to select candidates for admission into their participating campuses. Based on their scores in MET, the candidates will be able to apply for the BTech courses offered by Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, Manipal University, Jaipur, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology and Manipal Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. MET is held as a computer-based test at various centres and the candidates will be required to attempt objective multiple-choice questions.
ELIGIBILITY:
MAHE admits candidates under Indian / Domestic (General) or Foreign / NRI category (International), on fulfilling the eligibility requirements. All admissions are on the basis of merit.

- Foreign Nationals
- Candidates with NRI status
- Candidates sponsored by relatives with NRI status
- Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
- Person of Indian Origin (PIO)
Foreign / NRI / NRI Sponsored category seats are NOT equivalent to payment / management / reserved seats.
The candidates MUST have secured the OCI/PIO card before 04.03.2021.
As per the decision dated February 03, 2023 passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in Writ Petition (Civil) 891 / 2021, the OCI/PIO candidates who have secured OCI/PIO card before 04.03.2021 shall be considered as Indian nationals.
Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / any technical vocational subject as optional, from a recognized Board, with minimum 50% aggregate marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.

4 marks for every correct answer. For MCQs, 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. For NAT questions, no negative marking will be done.
