About JEE (Main) 2026 Session 2

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) is a national-level engineering entrance test conducted by the
National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission into undergraduate engineering programs across India.
The Session 2 examination offers an additional chance for candidates to improve their scores or
appear for the examination for the first time in 2026.

Who Can Apply for JEE Main 2026 Session 2?

Candidates Registered for Session 1

Candidates who have already applied for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 do not need to register again for
Session 2.

  • Login using existing application number and password
  • Select course (paper)
  • Choose question paper language
  • Select preferred examination cities
  • Pay the Session 2 examination fee

Only the above options can be modified by Session 1 registered candidates.

New Candidates (Session 2 Only)

  • Complete fresh registration
  • Fill the online application form carefully
  • Upload required documents
  • Pay the application fee before the deadline

New applicants are advised to read the Information Bulletin carefully for details regarding
eligibility, exam pattern, timings, and instructions.

  • Applications are accepted only through online mode
