Manipal MET 2025: Exam Details for Engineering Aspirants
About MET 2025 : The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) conducts the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) annually for admissions into its various engineering programs. Candidates can apply for B.Tech courses at the following participating campuses based on their MET scores:
- Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal
- Manipal University, Jaipur
- Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology
- Manipal Institute of Technology, Bengaluru
computer-based test (CBT) held at multiple centers, consisting of objective multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
Eligibility Criteria
MAHE offers admissions under two categories: Indian/Domestic (General) and Foreign/NRI (International). All admissions are merit-based.
Candidates eligible for the Foreign/NRI category include:
- Foreign Nationals
- Candidates with NRI status
- Candidates sponsored by NRI relatives
- Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)*
- Person of Indian Origin (PIO)Person of Indian Origin (PIO)
*Note: Only candidates who secured their OCI/PIO card before March 4, 2021, are considered Indian nationals as per a Supreme Court decision dated February 3, 2023.
To be eligible, candidates must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subject as an optional subject. A minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and one optional subject is required.

- Application Period: October 14, 2024 – March 15, 2025
- Exam Dates: April 18 – April 19, 2025 (Tentative)
Phase 2
- Application Period: After Phase 1 deadline until the Phase 2 application deadline<
- Exam Date: May 12, 2025 (Tentative)

Marking Scheme:
- +4 marks for every correct answer
- -1 mark for incorrect MCQs
- No negative marking for NAT (Numerical Answer Type) questions
